On behalf of the South Valley Civic Theatre Board of Directors, I would like to offer my sincerest CONGRATULATIONS to the 2019-2020 Membership Award Recipients!

As everyone knows, this year’s season was cut short quite dramatically with the statewide shutdown in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We were forced, along with every other theatre company in California, to cancel the remainder of our regular season. Spring came and went, and we rolled into summer with no visible end in sight. As a Board, we felt strongly that those who worked so hard on the first three shows of the season should not go unrecognized. How fortuitous that the three productions (Steel Magnolias, Cinderella, and Rock of Ages) so perfectly encompassed the breadth of the SVCT family! We deliberated about how to honor the work that went into the shows that did reach fruition, and after much discussion, the SVCT Board of Directors came to a unanimous decision.

It is our pleasure to present awards to ALL of the nominees of this year’s season. SVCT would not be what it is today without the dedication of you, our producers, directors, designers, and performers. To you we say a resounding, “Huzzah!”, and we thank you for your continued devotion to South Valley Civic Theatre. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Morgan Hill Playhouse stage and to our Limelight stage in Gilroy n the not-too-distant future!
