Welcome friends, members, and prospective members of South Valley Civic Theatre.

This is a history making year for us. It is our fortieth season and we are bursting with pride! From our humble beginnings as the nomadic Gilroy Community Theatre, we have grown into a diverse company featuring actors and staff from communities to our south, north, east and west. Our five show seasons, which include a family musical, a young performers show, and a teen show, are presented in our resident home, the Morgan Hill Community Playhouse. Although our focus is theater, we also volunteer our time throughout the year at local community events in both Morgan Hill and Gilroy. We are a volunteer organization made up of community members of all ages and from all walks of life with a passion for the theater and committed to our vision of bringing quality theater to South County and beyond.

Seasoned performers and staff as well as new comers are always needed and welcome We have many positions available from producers, directors, designers, and actors, to lighting and sound technicians, backstage, prop, and costume crew, builders, painters, ushers and concessions helpers.

Our board of directors meets monthly and welcomes input from the community. If you are interested in becoming part of our organization, auditioning for a show or simply purchasing a ticket, check our website, contact us by mail or introduce yourself at one of our productions.

This season, in celebration of our 40th Anniversary, we will host .You are the Magic., a gala dinner celebration complete with entertainment, and a recap of our past 40 years. Continue to check our website for more information on this exciting event.
