Join SVCT’s talented teens in this thoroughly endearing family-friendly musical. Follow Percy Jackson, a 12-year-old boy who newly discovers that he is a demigod and goes on a quest to find Zeus’ missing lightning bolt to prevent a war between the Greek gods. As a son of Poseidon, Percy Jackson has newly discovered powers he can’t control and monsters on his trail. Featuring a thrilling original rock score, The Lightning Thief is an action-packed musical adventure.

This is a teen show. Auditioners must be 13 years old before February 23, 2024 and not turn 20 years old before March 16, 2024.

Rehearsals and Performances

  • Rehearsals dates are listed in your online audition form and will be different for actors, band members, and tech staff. Please ensure you document all conflicts accurately when completing the form.
  • Evening Performances: February 23, February 24, March 2, March 9, March 15
  • Matinee Performances:  March 2, March 3, March 9, March 10, March 16

  • Come prepared with a monologue less than thirty seconds long.
  • Our choreographer will teach a short dance routine, so bring comfortable clothes and shoes.
  • All auditions will be recorded.

.Teen staff roles must be filled by those 13 years old before February 23, 2024, and not turn 20 years old before March 16, 2024. Teen staff positions are unpaid, qualify as community service hours, and are eligible for a letter of recommendation upon completion to use for future leadership/technical endeavors.
