Limelight Theater presents a variety of quality shows in an intimate, bring-your-own-dinner, cabaret-style venue. Each production transforms our 50 patron space into something unique and captivating.
Limelight Theater
The Limelight Theater is located at 16300 Condit Road. It is a small building on the east side of Condit Road, just north of the Morgan Hill Aquatics Center (between Dunne and Tennant). Park at the north end of the Aquatics Center and walk north through the gate, following the red carpet to the theater entrance.
We offer two small plays a year at Limelight Theater (typically scheduled for late summer and mid-winter) and a third , larger, play (in the spring) at the Morgan Hill Community Playhouse. (This is in addition to the four musicals we also present annually at the Playhouse.)
Our Performance Space and Ambience
The Limelight Theater is an intimate, cabaret-style performance space. The building has several small rooms that are uniquely configured for each production in creative ways that maximize the audience’s immersive experience. There is seating for about 50 patrons and creative staging enables all audience members to never be more than a row or two away from the action. In addition, we encourage friends and to-be-friends to mingle and enjoy the ambience and camaraderie of the environment. Patrons may bring or order in dinner, and we also offer a full bar, with a selection of beers, wines and cocktails to enjoy with dinner or during the performance.
Limelight Theater provides the perfect setting for an enjoyable evening out with friends!
Accessibility
The Limelight Theater has stairs and a ramp leading to the front door and is wheelchair accessible, with all seating configurations being flexible. If you have special needs, please note in your ticket request.

Box Office
Seating is preassigned and may be configured differently for each show. When you purchase your tickets online you have the opportunity to specify others you wish to be seated with. The theater opens 1 1/4 hours before each performance. Tickets purchased online can be picked up at that time. Typically evening performances are at 8 pm and Sunday matinees are at 2:00 pm, but please verify times when purchasing your tickets.
Bring Your Own Dinner & Wine!
Many of our Limelight patrons enjoy extending their evening out by bringing or ordering in dinner before the show. We also offer a bar with wine, beer and cocktails, available before the show or during intermission and to be enjoyed with dinner or during the performance. We encourage friends and to-be-friends to mingle and enjoy the ambience and camaraderie of this environment! To accommodate eating or drinking before the show, our box office opens 1 1/4 hours before curtain.
